Pigmented Inks, in my experience seem to work better. However, the transfer on hand coated Duralar and on the Inkpress Clear Film where both run through a Canon ip3600 which is dye based. Both images transferred just fine. The only issue I had, and I'm sure its just a matter of tweaking the print driver was a slight color cast.

Hi, do you know if it matters what kind of ink you use? my inkjet uses dye based ink instead of pigment. I heard that pigment may work better for this process. Thanks.

Commissioner Benepe sees himself as a real estate agent, trying to get
the maximum price per square foot for all of our public parks. No one
should be surprised that he wants First Amendment protected artists
out of the parks to make way for more corporate owned vending
concessions. He's even tried to eliminate the Union Square
Greenmarket, founded by his father, Barry Benepe, to make room for
more lucrative corporate promotions. He's the Parks Commissioner of
Disney, Nike, Sony, Best Buy, Target and Chase Bank, not of the people
of NYC.

Thanks for the interesting post showing an unusual process. What kind of gelatin are you using? Do you let it dry? How did you make the acetate image?

Thanks for you response.
